Any personal information provided to or gathered through the Fastflow site and system ("Fastflow") is controlled by QBE Management Services (UK) Limited, QBE UK Limited and/or QBE Underwriting Limited (each and all "QBE", "we", "us" or "our").

What information do we collect and process?

We may collect and process the following:

  • Information you provide in answering questions on the Site, which may include personal data of your clients and customers (the "Insured") and your personal data;
  • Contact information previously provided which may include first and last names, email addresses and contact telephone numbers of: your partners, employees, agents, contractors, and the Insured.
  • How is this information used?

    Information provided by you will only be used by QBE for the following purposes:

  • To enable QBE to provide you with appropriate information and documentation in respect of products about which you enquire;
  • To assist QBE in understanding your requirements and those of the Insured and to enable us to make more informed underwriting decisions.
  • Contact information will only be used in connection with Fastflow:

  • For the purposes of managing your access to and use of Fastflow;
  • To provide you with information, products or services in connection with or similar to those ordered by you.
  • We may also use your contact information to provide you with information about our services, forums and seminars which we think may be of interest to you and we may contact you about these by post or telephone or by email if you have previously consented to this or it relates to policies previously purchased by you or the Insured.

    We take privacy seriously and have systems in place to ensure the security and accuracy of any personal information we collect. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers hosted by a third party provider on our behalf.

    Where we have given you (or where you or your employees (or equivalent) have chosen) log-in details and/or passwords, you are responsible for ensuring that they are kept confidential. You are not permitted to share log-in details or passwords with anyone outside your organisation and you must ensure that your employees (or equivalent) do not do so. You must ensure that if any individual with access to log-in details or passwords leaves your employment or ceases to be authorised to use Fastflow, that individual returns all records of log-in details and passwords and does not attempt to use them again.

    We restrict access to your information as appropriate within QBE to those who need to know that information for the purposes set out above.

    Who do we disclose information to?

    We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries (as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006) (some of which are outside the European Economic Area in countries which do not have laws protecting the use of personal information).     We will only disclose your personal information and that of the Insured to third parties:

  • If we have obtained your consent or it is for the purposes of a contract you have entered into or wish to enter into;
  • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation (this includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction);
  • Which provide a service to QBE (e.g. outsourced IT providers);
  • If we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business.
  • Where we transfer personal information to service providers or other members of our group, we will only allow your personal information to be used for the purposes set out above and we will ensure that it is secure and protected from unauthorised access.

    This Site is only for the use of entities acting in the capacity of insurance brokers ("Brokers") who: (1) have entered into a Terms of Business Agreement with QBE (a "TOBA") pursuant to which business is conducted with QBE; and (2) have been issued password and log-in details for this Site. Use of this Site by any other entity is not permitted.

    If you have accessed this Site without satisfying the above requirements, please withdraw from this Site immediately. Any further use by you of this Site shall not create any binding obligation on QBE and you shall be responsible for all consequences of such use.

    These are the terms and conditions which apply to your use of this Site (the "Terms") and are for the protection of both us and you. You must not use the Site for any immoral, illegal or other purpose which may be determined threatening, abusive or harmful or engage in any other conduct which might damage the Site, components thereof, or other property owned by or licensed to us or any third party, or otherwise cause any liability or loss to QBE or any third party. You may retrieve and display the Content from this Site on a computer screen, print individual pages on paper and store such pages in electronic form on disk for the purpose only of informing you and your organisation of the products and services offered by us. Our status as the authors of the Content must always be acknowledged.
